In this direction, The CDS NRPPD Plantation Database CNPD aggregates detailed plantation crop statistics. The crops covered pertain to Tea, Coffee, Rubber, and Spices across various agro-economic characteristics such as area, production, yield, labour use, marketing, trade, etc. The data compiled are from various official statistical outlets of the four commodity boards, The Rubber Board, The Coffee Board, The Spices Board, and The Tea Board. The database would serve to provide reliable data that can be retrieved conveniently. The database would be useful for academicians, policymakers, researchers, students, journalists, and people with a general interest in the area.
